Matariki

 Matariki



Room 12 learnt about Matariki through reading and a slide presentation that Miss Armiger shared with us. We learnt about the importance of having time with friends and families to share stories, singing, food and do activities. We also learnt about the star constellations. Room 12 made some Matariki Stars using pastel, dye and vivid. We looked at different maori designs to use on our stars and used warm and cool colours. Our Stars look amazing. 









Year 4's all enjoying their shared Matariki morning tea.
